The Absolute Alpine -

Each fall, places like Red Rocks (Las Vegas), Moab, UT, and other warm climbing destinations throughout the west host a very unofficial and crowd-depicted holiday know as 'Redrocks Giving,' 'Creekgiving,' and a number of any other creative names to help celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday in the places we love, with the people we love; doing what we love most; climbing! Strong vibes of "come one, come all" really are felt and the joy of being together, welcoming strangers as family, and enjoying a common passion make for a yearly highlight for most. It's a great experience to see those friendly faces that you pass at crags throughout the country, reunite and plan for the next trip.
This year, with warm weather still holding strong as we approach December, we opted to get the alpine seasons started a bit early and headed for higher elevations. Some of our favorite ranges for big-mountain training are the Elk Range near Aspen and The Sangre de Cristo in south-central Colorado...

After Absolute Alpine purchased several Snowshed merino baselayers from an outdoor shop in Colorado, they emailed us directly to sing out praises!  We were so happy with their unsolicited feedback and genuine experience in our clothes, that we decided to bring on their group of guides as brand ambassadors to Snowshed USA! 

The Absolute Alpine will be posting beautiful photos regularly, and writing about everything from their guiding adventures, to product reviews for essential mountaineering gear, to the foods they like to snack on to power their way across some of the worlds largest summits.  It's going to be awesome...
